【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsfordeterminingfracturetoughnessintermsofK(stressintensityfactor),δ(cracktipopeningdisplacement,CTOD)andJ(experimentalequivalentoftheJ-integral)forweldsinmetallicmaterials.ThisInternationalStandardiscomplementarytoISO12135,whichcoversallaspectsoffracturetoughnesstestingofparentmetalandwhichneedstobeusedinconjunctionwiththisdocument.ThisInternationalStandarddescribesmethodsfordeterminingpointvaluesoffracturetoughness.ItshouldnotbeconsideredawayofobtainingavalidR-curve(resistance-to-crack-extensioncurve).However,thespecimenpreparationmethodsdescribedinthisInternationalStandardcouldbeusefullyemployedwhendeterminingR-curvesforwelds.Themethodsusefatigueprecrackedspecimenswhichhavebeennotched,afterwelding,inaspecifictargetareaintheweld.Methodsaredescribedtoevaluatethesuitabilityofaweldfornotchplacementwithinthetargetarea,whichiseitherwithintheweldmetalorwithintheweldheat-affectedzone(HAZ),andthen,whereappropriate,toevaluatetheeffectivenessofthefatiguecrackinsamplingtheseareas.
