【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoproducecompressivepropertydataformaterialspecifications,researchanddevelopment,qualityassurance,andstructuraldesignandanalysis.Factorsthatinfluencethecompressiveresponseandshouldthereforebereportedincludethefollowing:material,methodsofmaterialpreparationandlayup,specimenstackingsequence,specimenpreparation,specimenconditioning,environmentoftesting,specimenalignmentandgripping,speedoftesting,timeattemperature,voidcontent,andvolumepercentreinforcement.Properties,inthetestdirection,thatmaybeobtainedfromthistestmethodinclude:Ultimatecompressivestrength,Ultimatecompressivestrain,Compressive(linearorchord)modulusofelasticity,Poisson''sratioincompression,andTransitionstrain.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminesthein-planecompressivepropertiesofpolymermatrixcompositematerialsreinforcedbyhigh-modulusfibers.Thecompositematerialformsarelimitedtocontinuous-fiberordiscontinuous-fiberreinforcedcompositesforwhichtheelasticpropertiesarespeciallyorthotropicwithrespecttothetestdirection.Thistestprocedureintroducesthecompressiveforceintothespecimenthroughshearatwedgegripinterfaces.ThistypeofforcetransferdiffersfromtheprocedureinTestMethodD695wherecompressiveforceistransmittedintothespecimenbyend-loading,TestMethodD6641/D6641Mwherecompressiveforceistransmittedbycombinedshearandendloading,andTestMethodD5467/D5467Mwherecompressiveforceistransmittedbysubjectingahoneycombcoresandwichbeamwiththinskinstofour-pointbending.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletocompositesmadefromunidirectionaltape,wet-towplacement,textile(forexample,fabric),shortfibers,orsimilarproductforms.Someproductformsmayrequiredeviationsfromthetestmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundsunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.Note18212;Additionalproceduresfordeterminingcompressivepropertiesofresin-matrixcompositesmaybefoundinTestMethodsD695,D5467/D5467M,andD6641/D6641M.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
