【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedfortheanalysisofnickel,ferronickel,andnickelbasealloysamplesbymolecularabsorptionspectrometrytocheckcompliancewithcompositionalspecifications.Itisassumedthatallwhousetheprocedurewillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingcommonlaboratoryproceduresskillfullyandsafely.Itisexpectedthattheworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryandthatproperwastedisposalprocedureswillbefollowed.Appropriatequalitycontrolpracticesmustbefollowed,suchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofphosphorusinnickel,ferronickel,andnickelalloysinthe0.0007%through0.05%range.1.2Arsenic,chromium,hafnium,niobium,silicon,tantalum,titanium,andtungsteninterfere,buttheinterferencecanbeavoidedbycomplexationorvolatilization(forCr).Thelowestphosphoruscontent(0.0007%)canbereachedonlyinsampleswithlowcontentsofinterferingelements.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecifichazardsassociatedwiththeuseofthispracticeseePracticesE50.Refertospecificwarningnotesgiventhroughoutthistestmethod.
