【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsformeasuringrollingresistance,undercontrolledlab-oratoryconditions,fornewpneumatictyresde-signedprimarilyforuseonpassengercars.Therelationshipbetweenvaluesobtainedandthefueleconomyofthevehicleisundetermined,andsuchvaluesarenotintendedtobeusedtoindicatelevelsofperformanceorquality.ThisInternationalStandardappliestoallpassengercartyres.Itenablescomparisonstobemadebetweentherollingresistanceofnewtyreswhentheyarefree-rollingstraightahead,inapositionperpendiculartothedrumoutersurface,andinsteady-statecon-ditions.Inmeasuringtyrerollingresistance,itisnecessarytomeasuresmallforcesinthepresenceofmuchlargerforces.Itis,therefore,essentialthatequip-mentandinstrumentationofappropriateaccuracybeused.
