【摘要】:ThisSAEStandardspecifiesthedimensionalfeaturesofcommonlyusedoilcontrolringshavingtwosteelsegments(rails)separatedandexpandedbyonesteelexpander/spacer.Thesegmentsvaryinwidthfrom0.4to0.6mm.Theassemblywidthrangesfrom2.5to4.75mm.The4.75mmwidthisequivalenttoexisting3/16inapplications.Expanderdesignwillvaryconsiderablywithpistonringmanufacturer.Thetotalcircumferentialdeflectionandthepistongroovedepthshouldbeconsideredwhendesigningtheseoilringstooptimizethefitoftheringassemblyintothepistongroove.Thisdocumentappliestooilcontrolringsupthrough125mmforreciprocatinginternalcombustionengines.Itmayalsobeusedforpistonringsofcompressorsworkingundersimilarconditions.
