【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthemethodstobeusedtodeterminethecontentof5-ethylidenenorbornene(ENB)ordicyclopentadiene(DCPD)inethylene-propylene-diene(EPDM)terpolymersinthe0,1%to15%range.ENBandDCPDaredienesintroducedintoethylene-propylenerubberstogeneratespecificcureproperties.Sincehighprecisionfordienecontentdeterminationisimportant,aFouriertransforminfraredspectroscopic(FT-IR)methodisutilized.NOTETheproceduresformassfractionofENBandmassfractionofDCPDdifferonlyinthelocationintheinfrared(IR)peakbeingquantified.
