【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversasphaltroofinginshingleform,composedofglassfeltorfeltsimpregnatedandcoatedonbothsideswithasphalt,andsurfacedontheweathersidewithmineralgranules.Thisspecificationisdesignedfortheevaluationofproductsasmanufactured.Thetestmethods,physicalrequirements,andminimummassesaretobemeasuredimmediatelyafterpackagingoratareasonabletime,asagreeduponbetweenbuyerandseller,aftermanufactureandbeforeinstallation.Physicalandperformancerequirementsafterapplicationandduringin-serviceuseoftheproductsdescribedhereinarebeyondthescopeofthismaterialspecification.1.2Shinglesmeetingthisspecificationareintendedtobeappliedwithaheadlapofnotlessthan51mm(2in.).1.3Theshinglesshallbesuppliedwithafactory-appliedself-sealingadhesiveorbedesignedtobelockedtogetherduringinstallationoftheshingles.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethoddescribedinthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
